About Shanice

When I was thirteen years old, I went to my first concert of my favorite artist, Lady Gaga.
I loved the show so much, that it inspired me to become a backup dancer for pop artists. Many years of training in dance studios and two pre-professional programs followed until I was accepted into the Amsterdam University of the Arts. I earned my Bachelor of Education in Dance with four years of training, performing, teaching, and choreographing. To say I loved the college program is an understatement!

Because of all the places I have visited pursuing a performing career, I realized how much I want to do within the dance industry. Going on tour with pop artists is still a dream of mine, but I also have other interests.

I would love to perform with dance companies performing contemporary work. I love teaching teenagers and adults in commercial pop, electric contemporary, and high heels. And I love choreographing for video and dance theater performances.
My goal is to inspire people of all ages to go after what they want in life and enjoy it fully.
We only have one life, after all.
